Why learn to dance West Coast Swing?
Ever wanted to be able to dance to just about any kind of music?
Max & Silvia of Salsa y Sol started to introduce this wonderful and very smooth partner dance originating from the West Coast of the United States to Winchester in January 2010.
“West Coast Swing (WCS) is a partner dance derived from Lindy Hop. It is characterised by a distinctive elastic look that results from its basic extension-compression technique of partner connection, and is danced primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. The dance allows for both partners to improvise steps while dancing together.” – Wikipedia
Due to the fact that it can be danced to almost any kind of music, WCS is gaining ever increasing popularity.
